This Privacy Policy explains how American Labels handles information submitted through its configured email-signup form and contact address. The signup form currently collects addresses for future site updates; it does not mean newsletter delivery is active.
Email signup
The signup invitation reads: “Join the American Labels list for useful guides and future site updates.” The form asks for your email address and requires you to select a checkbox accepting: “I agree to receive email updates from American Labels.”
When you submit the form, the signup module stores your email address, a duplicate-check hash, the signup time, the source page path, the consent wording you accepted and the collection status in the site’s WordPress database. The stored source path does not include query strings or page fragments.
This launch setup collects signups so American Labels can prepare for future updates. Newsletter delivery, confirmation messages and unsubscribe features require separate future configuration. Until those features are configured, you can use the contact route below to ask for removal.
The module also creates temporary anti-spam rate records using hashed network identifiers, with periodic cleanup. This description applies to the signup module only. It does not mean the website’s hosting or other systems never create network or access logs.
Contact messages
You can contact American Labels at contact@americanlabels.net. A message sent to this address includes the sender’s email address, message and any attachments you choose to provide. This information is used to receive and handle your request.
Access to signup records
Authorized WordPress administrators can view, export and remove signup records. Newsletter records are also included in WordPress personal-data export and erasure tools.
Signup records remain in the WordPress database until an administrator removes them or an erasure request is processed. This retention statement applies specifically to the configured signup records.

To ask whether a signup record is associated with you, request a copy of it or request removal, email contact@americanlabels.net. Include the email address used for the signup so the relevant record can be identified.
American Labels may link to other websites for additional information. Those websites maintain their own privacy information and are responsible for explaining their data practices.
